Pre-Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities
It is a central government scholarship scheme introduced by the Government to impart quality education to students belonging to minority communities like Zoroastrians, Jains, Buddhists, Christians, Sikhs and Muslims. The scholarship covers admission fee, maintenance allowance and tuition fee for students studying in class 1 to 10.
Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities
To support the education of minority community students at post-matriculation level, this central government scholarship has been introduced. The scheme is applicable for students of class 11 to PhD level. It covers the maintenance allowance, admission fee and tuition fee of the students.
Pre-matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
The enable students with disabilities studying in class 9 and 10 pursue higher education, the central government has introduced this scholarship scheme comprising variable awards. The scholarship includes transport allowance, escort allowance, reader allowance (for blind scholars), book allowance, coaching allowance, special allowance and more.
Post Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
To encourage higher education for students with disabilities, the Government has introduced this scholarship for students of class 11 onwards. Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students
This is a renowned central government scholarship scheme that aims to encourage meritorious students by providing them financial assistance for pursuing higher studies at college and university level. The students who have passed class 12 are eligible to apply for the scholarship that amounts between INR 10,000 per annum and INR 20,000 per annum.
